Missing Coat
On Sunday, November 16 a Men’s size L black puffer hoodie coat with cloth sleeves was accidentally taken from the church coatroom. If you have accidentally picked up the wrong coat please let the office know or return it as soon as possible. (There is a black size XL hoodie puffer coat in the coatroom).
Bell Choir Practice Time
Bell Choir meets at 7:15 on Wednesdays through November 19. A time change will occur once Advent services begin.
Christmas Eve Choir Practices
Choir practice for the Christmas eve service will be on Thursday evenings from 7-8 pm with the exception of Thanksgiving week.
Sunday School Christmas Program Rehearsal
Our first rehearsal for our Sunday School Christmas program will be Saturday, November 22nd at 9:00 a.m. Our Sunday School Christmas program will be held at the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
Christmas Cards
Cheerful House Cards is once again offering Christmas cards with no shipping fees. Trish Horn will be offering card box orders between services on November 23.
Keep Watch for Lutheran Social Services Angel Tree
Park View Lutheran will again bless young members of our community with an Angel Tree. Angels should be available for adoption by Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving Service
We will have a Holy Communion Thanksgiving Service on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at 9:00am.
Let’s Decorate
We are seeking volunteers to help decorate the church inside and out on Saturday, November 29. At 9:00 a.m. we will meet to set up the outdoor nativity scene and set up the Advent wreath, banners and decorations inside.
PVLC Christmas Caroling
This year’s caroling will be Saturday, December 13 @ 5:30 p.m. Meet at the church at 5:15 p.m. Look for the sign up sheet on the kiosk in the fellowship hall.
Advent Services
Wednesday Advent Services will be held at 1:00pm and 7:00pm on Wednesdays, December 3, 10, and 17.
Advent Dinners
Dinner will be served on Wednesday, December 3rd by the LYTES from 5:30pm to 6:30pm; on Wednesday, December 10th by the 7th and 8th grade Confirmation students and their parents from 5:30pm to 6:30pm; and on Wednesday, December 17th by the 5th and 8th grade students and their parents from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
LWML (WRO) Mite Box Mission Program
Based on the Biblical account of the widow's mite (Luke 21:1–4), the Mite Box is intended for regular contributions of "mites" — offerings above and beyond the support given to congregations and the LCMS. Mite Box contributions amount to millions of dollars that fund district and national mission grants and implement the LWML program. You will find mite boxes and the collection mite box by the card rack in the fellowship hall. Mites are collected on the first Sunday of every month.
