VBS Donations Needed
As we prepare for Keepers of the Kingdom VBS we invite you to help us create a fun, faith-filled adventure for our kids. We’re collecting donations for crafts, snacks, and games that will bring this royal theme to life! Take a look at the trifold display in the fellowship hall this Sunday to see how you can contribute. Whether big or small, every gift helps build the kingdom and bless our children in a meaningful way. Thank you for your generosity and for being part of this exciting mission!
Nomination Forms
Do you know of a pastor that you believe would be a good fit as the next shepherd of Park View Lutheran Church? If so, there are nomination forms available in the front office. Prior to receiving candidates from Iowa District East we can submit names that we believe would be fitting for our congregation. Upon completion of a Nominations Form, they are to be turned into the head elder (Scott Campbell) or the chairman (Joshua Elmshaeuser), either in person, or to their respective boxes in the front office. Everyone’s prayerful consideration is appreciated.
Thursday Morning Women’s Bible Study
We will meet on Thursdays, April 30, May 7 & May 14. We will then take a break during summer and pick back up in the Fall, continuing the book “My Peace I Leave You”

Hear ye, hear ye — the Kingdom needs you!
We are preparing for Keepers of the Kingdom VBS (June 15th–19th, 9:00 AM–11:30 AM), and we are looking for faithful volunteers to help make this week an unforgettable adventure for our kids. Whether you enjoy helping with crafts, guiding a group of children, preparing snacks, or simply offering a welcoming smile, there is a place for you in the Kingdom. It takes many hands and servant hearts to make VBS a success, and your time and gifts can make a lasting difference in a child’s faith. Stop by the sign-up table in the Fellowship Hall this Sunday to learn more and claim your role in the Kingdom. We would love to have you join the adventure!
Member emergencies
If members need to see a Pastor immediately (in case of emergency/death, etc.) we will be asking members to contact the church office. We will also publicize the phone numbers of elders Scott Campbell and Quintin Gerard (contact the church office for those phone numbers). Once notification has been made, Pastor Kincaid will be contacted. If he is available, he will drive down. If not, an elder may make first contact, or Pastor Kincaid will reach out to Pastor Kent Umbarger, recently retired from St. John’s East Moline, who lives in Bettendorf.
Attendance Cards Reminder
As we continue through this time of a pastoral vacancy, all members and guests are asked to please fill out a yellow attendance card each Sunday morning or Wednesday during Lent. These cards help us accurately track attendance, stay connected as a worshiping community, and help to better support the life of the church. Thank you for your participation and continued faithfulness.
Recorded Worship Services
We will be recording our 8 AM Sunday services and 1 PM Wednesday Lenten services for those who are unable to attend service in person. While nothing replaces gathering together for worship, these recordings are offered as a resource for those who are homebound, traveling, or ill.
