Baby Bottle Campaign
For over 30 years, Pregnancy Resource has celebrated life by offering Quad City area men and women the facts they need to make informed, life-honoring decisions about pregnancy. Together we can reach abortion vulnerable families with help, hope and healing in the name of Jesus Christ. You can help by taking a baby bottle, filling it up with spare change or a check, bringing it back by Sunday, May 31. Money raised will support ongoing work of Pregnancy Resources in Davenport, Moline, East Moline and on the Mobile Medical Unit.

Nomination Forms
Do you know of a pastor that you believe would be a good fit as the next shepherd of Park View Lutheran Church? If so, there are nomination forms available in the front office. Prior to receiving candidates from Iowa District East we can submit names that we believe would be fitting for our congregation. Upon completion of a Nominations Form, they are to be turned into the head elder (Scott Campbell) or the chairman (Joshua Elmshaeuser), either in person, or to their respective boxes in the front office. Everyone’s prayerful consideration is appreciated.
Volunteers Needed to Hand Out Sack Lunches to Children of our Community
We will again work with the “Feed our Children Ministry” this summer. We are looking for two volunteers each Tuesday from 11:30 - 12:30 to distribute free sack lunches from our parking lot to children in our neighborhood from June 9 until August 21. Please call the church office 285-9035 or use the calendar sign-up sheet on the secretary desk to help out to help.

Member emergencies
If members need to see a Pastor immediately (in case of emergency/death, etc.) we will be asking members to contact the church office. We will also publicize the phone numbers of elders Scott Campbell and Quintin Gerard (contact the church office for those phone numbers). Once notification has been made, Pastor Kincaid will be contacted. If he is available, he will drive down. If not, an elder may make first contact, or Pastor Kincaid will reach out to Pastor Kent Umbarger, recently retired from St. John’s East Moline, who lives in Bettendorf.

Attendance Cards Reminder
As we continue through this time of a pastoral vacancy, all members and guests are asked to please fill out a yellow attendance card each Sunday morning or Wednesday during Lent. These cards help us accurately track attendance, stay connected as a worshiping community, and help to better support the life of the church. Thank you for your participation and continued faithfulness.
Recorded Worship Services
We will be recording our 8 AM Sunday services and 1 PM Wednesday Lenten services for those who are unable to attend service in person. While nothing replaces gathering together for worship, these recordings are offered as a resource for those who are homebound, traveling, or ill.
